Star Point Winners rpHE best story of the week was outX standing. It was a long tale by Sandra (14), which will appear in serial form soon, in response to many requests for another serial. The best sketches came from Jasmine (13), who sent a batch of several drawings. Goldytop (12) sent along some interesting news. The painting competition attracted a great many entries, and the pictures on the whole were neat and colourful. A specially effective one came from Lucius (8), who. had framed her picture with a freize of real shells, painted in gay colours. Marie (14) had used glistening flakes for the scaly fish and mermaid’s tail, with effective results. Other good entries came from Nuts (11), Bushranger (10) and Miss Furry (11).—KIWI.
