In The Garden

Competition Corner

TN the garden now there are the last of summer’s flowers trnd the wealth of early autumn’s; bronze, copper and gold are strewn about in nasturtiums, marigolds . and dahlias. If you go questing you will perhaps find asters and the last roses.

But in the garden now you will find poetry; and for this week’s competition you must write verses about any one flower you may choose, providing it is flowering now. Come along, versemakers, there are star-points for the best entries marked with name, penname, age and address, received no later than Wednesday afternoon.— KIWI.
