STATE MINES IDLE
By Telegraph—Press Association. GREYMOUTH, March 16. The James and Strongman State mines are idle today because of the men’s objection to a system of tokens in the Strongman colliery. The men contend that the tokens should not be used to check the output as the men arc not paid on a tonnage basis.
