South Africa-Australia Record Broken
The Shaw, Savill Company yesterday received cabled advice that its new 27,000-ton motor-liner Dominion Monarch, which is on her maiden voyage to New Zealand, reached Fremantle nt 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 94 days out from Durban. No details are available, but the liner has easily broken the record for the passage from South Africa to Australia. The Dominion Monarch left Fremantle again at G p.m. on Wednesday, her schedule time, is due at Melbourne on March 19, at Sydney on March 21, and at Wellington on March 25.
