4 “Let’s Go Hunting” A typical English hunting scene, with the scarlet-coated huntsmen gathered round the village inn, preparatory to the chase, forms the finale to the first half of “Let’s Go Hunting,” Mr. Stanley McKay's revue now at the New Opera House. Heading the bill is George Hurd, the adroit juggler. This amazing man who has perfectly co-ordinated mind, sight and action, takes pride in going through his amazing performances without making a slip, Stella Lamont) makes a welcome reappearance, singing in her own inimitable style, “I Thought. I’d Die” and "Man’s Seven Ages? One of the features of the programme is the introduction of the London rage, “The Lambeth Walk.” a Cockney strut to a lively tunc, which is sung by Gerry Keogh, with the assistance of the Gaiety Girls. Scotty and Dolly, Australia’s premier dancing duo; I Snowy Towers, mimic of screen stars; Nellie Kolle, famous male impersonator; rhe San Remos Bros., matchless hand balancers; Assain, Pekoe, Souchon and Congo, crazy aerobatic clowns.; Jerry Keogh, acrobatic dancer; Dolly Donoghue, solo dancer; and Max Reddy, light comedian, are others who give variety items of outstanding merit. The third and farewell programme, “The Laughter Express,” will be presented for the first time at a gift matinee tomorrow. The season will end tomorrow night.
