Wellington Effort SelfSupporting SMALL CREDIT BALANCE "It was a very successful effort;” said tlie deputy-mayor, CT. M. F. Luckie. chairman of the committee controlling Physical Fitness Week -in Wellington, in announcing to the city council last night that the campaign had been selfsupporting. There was a small credit balance of £3/12/3, he said. The result was most encouraging, and a suggestion bad been made that the committes should not be disbanded.

"I wish to pay a tribute to all who were associated with Physical Fitness Week,” added Ur. Luckie. "They made my task as chairman very light indeed."

The mayor. Mr. Hislop. thanked Cr. Luckie for ,his work as chairman of the committee and joined with him in expressing appreciation of the efforts of all who had contributed to tlie success of the week.
