Establishment On Sound Basis Urged SYDNEY, .March 15. The Inspector-General of the Australian Military Forces, Lieutenant-Gen-eral Squires, in a report to the Federal Government, emphasizes the importance of establishing the militia on a sound foundation in order that it could meet a major form of aggression. Other recommendations which have been approved by the Federal Government include lower retiring ages for officers and a supplementary list to which officers can De transferred at a special rate of pay.
