HARRIER SEASON

Annual Meeting Of Baptist Club Tlie secund annual meeting of the Wellington Baptist Harrier Club was held on Tuesday in tlie Vivian Street Baptist classroom. In presenting his annual statement, the secretary made mention of tlie progress made by the club in the past year and tlie loyal support of all members. Though it was the club's first official year, those who had entered in some of the interciub events had done surprisingly well.

A feature of the treasurer’s statement was that there were no outstanding subscriptions. Tlie subscriptions for tlie forthcoming season were decided us follows:—Senior, 8/6: junior. 5/-: associate. 3/6. Tlie opening date was fixed for the week after the centre opening.

The election of officers resulted as follows: —President. Mr. B. 11. Wood ; vicepresidents, Revs. L. A. North. J. R. Grave. H. E. Edridge. Messrs L. G. Rimmer, G. Ivory, P. L. Wilson. A, Dome van, C. Collins. R. C. O'Connor. R. Lovatt. and S. J’. Burnett: secretary. Mr. R. E. G. Wadham: treasurer, Mr. P. Kendon : captain. Mr. R. E. .1. Tonson : vice-captain. Mr. G. Voller; reporter and recording secretary. Mr. It. F. Norgate; committee, Messrs. M. Dawson and R. Yarrall.
