Visitors to Wellington
Airs. E. J; Alackinnon, Napier, arrived at Wellington yesterday to attend the Racing Club’s autumn meeting.
Airs. K. N. Andrews,. New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington, where she will spend several weeks’ holiday. Airs. J. F. W. Broad, Wanganui, is a visitor to Wellington.
Mrs. R. W. Digby Roberts. Wanganui, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Constance Roberts, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Airs. Bruce Douglas, Glenesk, Canterbury, will leave tonight for Wellington to attend the races at Trenthain.
Captain and Airs. F. Holmes Edge, Lyttelton, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday. Mrs. L. V. C. Gibson, Hawera, is visiting Wellington for a fortnight’s holiday.
Mrs. Charles Gardner. Hastings, is a visitor to Wellington to bid farewell to her sister, Mrs. Shearn, who sails by the Wanganella on her return home to Perth, Western Australia. On Holiday Miss N. Maudsiey, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. C. E. Monagham. New Plymouth.
Mrs. H. G. Shouier, Palmerston North, who is visiting Christchurch for the women’s bowling tournament, is staying with Mrs. M. Callan, Fendalton.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Du Pont, Wades:own, left ’Wellington last night for he South Island.
Airs.. C. Morice left Wellington yeserday for the south.
Aliss Joan Wallace, Palmerston North, and her sister, Airs. AlcLauchlin, are touring the South Island.
Aliss Alarie Dunbarr, Wellington, is staying with Air. and Airs. S. J. Burmeister, Palmerston North.
Airs. H. Al. Peacock, Auckland, is a visitor to Alasterton. ’ Air. and Airs. H. AleKenzie Douglas. Masterton, are holiday-making in the South . Island and will visit the lake district.
Airs. F, Clarke, Featherston; is on a motor tour of 'the North Island. Airs. A. E. Barker and Aliss J. Barker are Pongaroa visitors to the South Island.
Airs. S. W. Eunson. and Aliss Hansen are Wairarapa visitors to Invercargill. Air. and Alys. A. A. Ale Donnell, Masterton, will leave by the Wanganella on a holiday visit to Sydney.
Going Abroad Lady Nathan, Perth, who lias been visiting Wellington, left last night to join the Alariposa at Auckland on her return to Australia. Aliss Barbara Chorlton, Wellington, left by the Awatea from Auckland on Tuesday en route to England on an extended visit. Miss A. F. Rees-Jones, Bolton Street, will leave Wellington by the Wanganella today for Sydney en route for England. Airs. J. Round, Heathcote Valley, Christchurch, and her daughter, Airs. V. AlcTigue, ■ will leave on April 1 for Wellington, to connect with the Awatea for Sydney en route to England. Returned Home Miss Gwen Williams, Hawera, has returned from Wellington, where she attended the Alacarthur—Smith wedding. Aliss Cicely Pratt, Christchurch, who is visiting her sister, 'Airs. Michael Gordon, Hawke’s Bay, will return home this week.
Airs. D. C. Peacock, Heretannga, returned to Wellington yesterday from Dunedin.
Airs. Hugh Ross, Wellington, and Mrs. William Glasgow, Turakina, have returned to “Invermailie,” Mrs. Glasgow’s home, Turakina. Airs. E. J. Rich and Airs. J. Hill, who have been visiting Otaki beach, have returned to Masterton. Masterton visitors to Paraparaumu beach who have returned home are Air. and Airs. H. AV. R. Beetham, Lansdowne, and Misses Al. and K. Langdon, Tinui. Returned To Wellington Aliss R. AlcNair, Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. Al. Simpson, Alasterton, has returned home. Airs. R. Milroy, with her small daughter, Bernice, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Cowell, Eltham, has returned to her home in Wellington. Airs. E. Alison, who lias been the guest of her sister, Airs. Frank Wade, Christchurch, returned to Wellington yesterday.
