CHAMBERLAIN’S AGED UMBRELLA
(Received March 14, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. Lady Elibank, speaking in Peebles, Scotland, today, revealed that Mr. Chamberlain’s famous umbrella, regarded as a symbol of peace by many people in the totalitarian countries which the Prime Minister visited, is 40 years old. It was a present from his wife and has been re-covered four times.
