ADDRESS ON “PEACE”
Arranged in conjunction witli the annual convention of the New Zealand ■Women’s Christian Temperance Union, a public address on “Peace” will be given in St. John’s schoolroom tomorrow night, beginning at 7.45 o’clock, by the Rev. W. H. P. Mackenzie.
When he appeared in the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington, yesterday, charged with rape, Eric Alfred Garrod, carpenter, aged 22. was remanded b.v Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M.. to appear in Wellington again on March 22. Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle applied for the remand.
