BIG MERCHANT NAVY FOR JAPAN
7,500,000 Tons By 1942 (Received March 15, 1.10 a.m.) TOK 10, March 11. It is announced that Japan is planning to build a merchant marine of 7,500,000 tons by 1042. The building programme provides for the construction of 750,000 tons a year, the ships to be divided into two categories—for ocean service and for inland navigation in China
