Wellington Market More Active IMPROVED TURNOVER The Wellington share market was more active vesterday, with a larger turnover than for some time. A stronger demand developed for Government loans, while banks were again wanted, prices showing minor fluctuations. Australian industrials met a good demand, some issues showing an advance. Woolworths Ltd. advanced on selling at 23/1, 23/3 and 23/11, though late quotations were on a lower scale, with buyers at 23/1 and sellers at 23/4. G.-.T. Coles also were firmer, changing hands at 39/7J. British Tobacco showed a further advance, selling at 50/10 ana 51/-.
