CAR STRIKES POWER POLE

Two Wellington People Injured By Telegraph—Press Association. FOXTON, March 14. A car driven by Mrs. G. S. Eastwood en route to Wairakei, accompanied by Mr. Eastwood, 33 Fitzroy Street, Wellington, skidded at the Himatangi corner at midday and struck a power pole. A door was torn off and Mr. Eastwood fell to the road. The car continued on at a right angle and finished up in a fence.

Mrs. Eastwood received a cut over the eye and Mr. Eastwood head injuries. Both were given medical attention in Foxton. The car was considerably damaged.
