GIRLS’ PART IN WARTIME
High School To Provide Course By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 13. Courses to prepare girls for tasks that would fall to women In war were advocated tonight by the Hawera High School Board, which appointed a committee to make plans for a week’s course next year.
The subject arose as a result of the boys’ recent military camp. It was considered something similar should be done for girls.
