OFFICER TO RETIRE
Head Of Labour Department In Auckland Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND, March 13. After 27 years’ service with the Labour Department, Mr. AV. Slaughter, officer in charge of the Labour Department in Auckland, is to retire from the end of April, as lie will then have reached the age limit. Ho i.s to be granted three mouths’ retiring leave from May 1 before going on superannuation.
