Interhouse Association Competition I DIVISION POSSIBLE A decision to divide the 77 ellington interbouse football competition into two sections if the entries exceeded 13 was reached at the second annual meeting ot the Wellington Interhouee Football Association last night. Mr. A. E. Powers presided. April 17 was fixed as the closing day for entries. ' It was announced that four teams, Canister, Levys, Bergers and Colbeale, would not be playing this season and that Pallo and Colbeale would probably combine. Two new teams, Cathies and Newtown Boxing Club, had entered aud entries were also expected from Ford Motors (two teams), Evening Post.” Wellington Patent Foodstuffs and Radio Corporation. In reply to the association s request for a mutch in Wanganui, the secretary of the Wanganui Football Association, Mr. j_> F. Elliott, wrote suggesting Easter Monday, the match to be played on Cooks Gardens. It was decided to find out from the clubs bow many players would be prepared to make the trip at their own expense. The association wrote to the Manawatu Football Association suggesting a matcli between the two associations. In reply the hon. secretary. Mr. W. Logan, said hit) association would be pleased to arrange a game. Monday, June a (Kings Birthday holiday), was suggested as the dale for the match. It was decided to accept the invitation, the match to be played in Palmerston North on the date suggested. Mr. J. Houston was appointed sole selector for interhouse representative teams. Officers Elected. The election of officers resulted; Patron, Mr. W. A. Greathead ; president, Mr. G. IT Bassant; vice-presidents, Messrs. W Kitchie, C. If. Hibberd, K. McAulay, $. Callaghan, J. Houston; hon. secretarytreasurer, Mr. N. Best; trustees, the hon. secretary, Mr. A. Grounsel, and Mr. B. Jephson; bon. auditor, Mr. 7V. Bolton; delegate to the Wellington Football Association. Mr. A. E. Powers: delegates to the Wellington Football Association annual meeting, Messrs. E. 11. Martin and 11. Brain. It was decided to require clubs to pay 10/- to the funds of the interimuse association in addition to the_ £5/5/- capitation fee payable to the Wellington Football Association.
