MOTORISTS TRAPPED IN CREEK
Three Believed Drowned SYDNEY, March 11. Three people are believed to have _ been drowned and three were saved when a shallow creek in the Orange district in which their car had stalled suddenly became Hooded. Those missing are Mrs. Gordon, her daughter, and her son’s daughter. Two other daughters and a woman friend were saved.
A farmer was trying to tow the car out of the creek when there was a “cloudburst” and a sudden torrent carried the car down the creek.
