ANTARCTIC DISPUTE
Norway And Germany BERLIN, March 10. Germany is not claiming the Antarctic territory reported to have been discovered by Captain Ritscher till he returns to Berlin and reports. It is officially stated in Oslo that Norway on January 14 claimed the sovereignty of this land.
A Berlin message published on Friday stated that Captain Paul Ritscher, operating by aeroplane, claimed the discovery of 135,000 square miles' of territory in the Antarctic between • > degrees west mill 1-7 degrees longitude and exlending inland to 75 degrees south latitude, including mountain ranges and a high central Polar massif.
