Train Smash In New South Wales From “The Dominion,”, March 16, 1914.) There has been a sensational train smash at Exeter, on the southern line, 93 miles from Sydney. The Temora mail from Sydney crashed into a stationary goods train, telescoping a passenger ear and a sleeping car. and derailing the engine. it is officially stated that 14 have been killed and six injured. There was a thick mist at the time, obscuring the signal from the driver of the Temora mad. • • • The Russian newspapers unanimously refuse to accept the intimidation of the Austro-Gerniau Press campaign. They recall to Russia that Germany set the example of increasing her military strength. M. Sazanofl, Minister for Foreign Affairs, states that there is no ground for the present excitement. The relations of Russia and Austria are excellent, though they were strained in 1913.
