Strathallan At Wellington Today

The last cruise ship to visit Wellington this season, the new P. and O. liner Strathallan, is due in port at 8 o’clock this morning from Sydney and Brisbane, via Auckland, and will berth at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. Site will leave at 6.30 p.m. for Sydney. The latest addition to the P. and O. fleet, the Strathallan is of 23,722 tons gross, and is a sister ship to the Stratbeden, which visited Wellington last month. The Strathallan will be thrown open for public inspection this afternoon from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. A charge of 6d. each for adults and 3d. each for children will be made in aid of the Missions to Seamen and the Shipwreck Relief Society.
