YACHTSMEN NARROWLY AVERT DISASTER. Spectators at a recent Lyttelton regatta were afforded the spectacle of a small yacht which, while sailing close to the' rocks, nearly capsized when a sudden squall carried away a mainstay. The crew’s sudden burst of energy in bringing the boat back to an even keel caused considerable amusement, not shared by the crew, as the amount of water shipped soaked their shore-going clothes. Later, three shivering yachtsmen crept home, but with no fears of catch ing chills, for before leaving the boatsheds each had been fortified with a large dose from an inevitable bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. For over 75 years “Baxter’s” has served as New Zealand’s greatest cough remedy. “Baxter’s” quickly soothes and relieves coughs, colds, sore throats and bronchial ailments. There’s nothing like “Baxter's. “Baxter's” does good from the first dose, and its tonic action helps set you up after heavy colds. Always ask for “Baxter’s” —all chemists and stores—1/6, 2/6, and the economical family size, 4/6. —Advt.
