OBITUARY

Mr. R. S. P. Richardson A well-known settler of the Kimbolton district, Mr. Robert Suelsou Palmerston Richardson, died in the Palmerston North Hospital yesterday at the age of 60 years, states a “Dominion” Special Service message. Mr. Richardson took up farming in 1885. In the early days he carried out extensive road contracting work, and was responsible for the building of most of the roads and' streets in and about the Kimbolton township. In ills early days he was a keen Rugby player. Later he took an interest in horse racing. and became the owner of several well-known sprinters. He leaves a widow anil three daughters.
