RETURN TO SYDNEY
Ship Omana Recalled Sydney, January 30. The steamer Omana, which left Melbourne on January 25 for New Zealand ports and is halfway across the 'Tasman, has received wireless orders to return to Sydney to pick up the cargo which ordinarily the Monowai would have carried. The Monowai arrived late on Monday ami, having disembarked her Sydney passengers, immediately proceeded to Melbourne. She returns from Mel- - bourne at eight on Friday morning and sails at noon for Wellington. Her schedule of cruises is the cause of the haste.
