TREASURY RETURNS
British Revenue and Payments. (British Official Wireless.) (Received January 30, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 29. Latest 'Treasury returns show that the total ordinary revenue for the financial year up to January 26 amounts to £508,860,213 as compared with £515,625,652 for the corresponding period of last year. Including self-balancing revenue the figures are £580,375,213 and £5.86,004,652 respectively. Income tax collected last, week amounted to £13,832.000. bringing the total to date to £122,198,000 against £116,983,000 at the corresponding date last year. The total ordinary expenditure to Saturday last was £578,433,5-19, as compared with £566,397,332 on January 27, 1934. With self-balancing expenditure the total for the current year is £649,948,549 against £640,080,652 last year.
