At a dinner given for men. women and children, a party of 12 attended. The expenses for each man were 5/-, for each woman 4/- and for each child 3/-. The total expenses were 48/-. The bills for the men and children equalled those of the women. How many of each were in the party? Answer to Yesterday’s Puzzle The numbers were 8, 12, 5, 20.
