Mrs. M. Costley has returned to Wellington from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. A. G. Pilmer, Wellington, is visiting Mrs. AV. McKenzie, Masterton. Miss M. Major is a Palmerston North visitor to Masterton.
Miss Jean Tutbury has returned to Featherston after a holiday at Levin. Miss McKeowen, Goring Street, has left for a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. S- Harris, Wellington, is spending a fortnight’s holiday at Rotorua. Mrs. E. C. Lorck, Dannevirke, and her two small sons are visiting Napier. Mrs. G. M. McCaskill has returned to Palme.rston North from Australia. Miss C. Fraser, Palmerston North, has returned home from a holiday spent at Titahi Bay. Mrs. A. Donald, Austin Street, will leave Wellington to-morrow for a holiday in the Marlborough district. Mrs. W. Johnson and her family, who have been staying at Pukerua Bay, have returned to Wellington.
Mrs. J. G. Major and family have returned to Palmerston North from a seaside holiday spent at Wellington. Mr. AV. McKay, Miss Mavis McKay and Mr. A. McKay, Fairfield, are staying at Wellington. Mrs. Gerald Wilson, Onga Onga Hawke’s Bay, is the guest of Mrs. Robertson, Hawkestone Terrace.
Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Fish, Seatonn, have left to spend a fortnight at Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Robinson and their son, Johnsonville, are staying with Mrs. R. Frater, Masterton. Mrs. S. Holdsworth, Whakataki, Masterton, is visiting Seatonn, where she is staying with Miss F. H. Speedy.
Mrs. Desmond Todd, Wellington, is a visitor to Christchurch for the Norwood-Redpath wedding. Mrs. Grant Dalton, Hawke’s Bay, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mowat, Christchurch. The Misses Nola and Joan Murphy, Wellington, are spending a holiday at Christchurch.
Mrs. Maurice Myers, who has been staying with Lady Myers in Upland Road, returned to Dunedin by last evening’s steamer express.
Miss Kershaw, Wellington Girls’ College, has returned to 'Wellington from a holiday spent touring at and around Auckland.
Miss Mona Brien, Tinakori Road, will leave for a visit to the South Island by this evening’s steamer express.
Mrs. Maurice O’Connor and her daughter, Miss Peggy O’Connor, who have been staying in Hawke’s Bay, have returned to Wellington. Miss Zoe Bowling, Oriental Bay, who has been the guest of Miss Ngaire Caffln, Christchurch, has returned home.
Mrs. W. Hayes, has returned to Taihape from a visit to Masterton, where she has been staying with Mrs. Engstrom.
The Rev. E. J. Rich, Mrs. Rich and their family have returned to the Vicarage, Masterton, from a visit to Wellington.
Miss J. Hume, of the staff of the Palmerston North Girls' High School, left Auckland last week by the Monowai for England.
Miss Irene Wilson, principal of Queen Margaret College, who has been spending the vacation with her mother, Mrs. J. H. Wilson, Cashmere Hills, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. F. L. Webb, who has been spending six weeks at 'Wellington with her daughter, Miss Jocelyn Webb, will return to Christchurch. early next week.
Mrs. C. J. Doughnan,. Lower Hutt, is the guest- Of. her -father, Mr. H. O. Devenish Meares, Christchurch. Mr. Meares ■ and his .granddaughter, Miss Peggy Loughnan,. will -leave next week for a trip -to- Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Buxton and family, Wanganui; who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Buxton, New Brighton, Christchurch, have returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Wilson, Geneva, who have been spending some months at Christchurch, will leave on Saturday for 'Wellington, and will spend ton days there before sailing on their return journey to Europe. Mrs.-John North has arrived at Auckland from Dunedin, to visit her mother, Mrs. H. O. AViles, Remuera, and after spending some weeks there, will take up her residence at Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Richards, London, are arriving by the Tainui next Tuesday. Mrs. Richards W’as Miss Mary Lennie, Island Bay, Wellington. Mr. Richards was Lady Chaytor’s pilot on a flight from England ■ to Australia about two years ago. Miss Patricia Anderson, who has been spending her holidays at “Tiri Moana,” left on Thursday to join her parents, who have been touring Australia and visiting the Centenary celebrations, at AA 7 ellington. Miss Jeanette Briggs, Hataitai, who has been, visiting friends at Ellerslie, Auckland, has returned to AA r ellington. Mrs. 0. AVapp, with her two daughters Helen and Ruby, and Miss Dawn Barnett, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Mitchell, Adelaide Road.
