Wellington Market Active YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS The Wellington stock and share market was active yesterday, 27 sales being I•' recorded. Government loans were steady under a good demand, the 5 per cent. • Rural Bonds, 1947, changing hands at were active. New Zealand ordinary shares firmed yesterday to a good demand. Three parcels were done late on Tuesday at 50/-. and sales were made yesterday at 50/1 and 50/3 with .late buyers "offering 50/1 and sellers raising their figure to 50/6.
