Action Against Newspaper (Received January 29. 9.25 p.m.) • Sydney, January 29. Egen Kisch’s action for alleged contempt of court against the “Sydney Morning Herald” was continued in the High Court to-day. when Mr. Piddington, K.C., for Kisch, contended that the “Herald” published articles prior to the recent appeal attacking the court’s character and “judicial behaviour” in addition to publishing an article from a clergyman contributor who claimed that the High Court had adopted an arrogant attitude toward Highland people generally arising out of the discussions on the Gaelic language, in which Kisch was subjected to a dictation test. The hearing was adjourned till tomorrow.
