Due Here Noon Tuesday The Shaw, Savill Company last night received a wireless message from its liner Tainui, cn route from London and Southampton to Wellington via Kingston and tlie Panama Canal, reporting that she expects to arrive here at noon next Tuesday. She will land her North Island passengers and mail here and leave again later day for Lyttelton and Dunedin to discharge her London cargo. DUE TO-MORROW Freighter WaikaAva The Union Company’s AVaikawa, from Los Angeles and Apia,, via Auckland, where she arrived last Saturday, will reach Wellington to-morrow morning' to- discharge. She will land further cargo at Lyttelton and Dunedin before proceeding to Australia to complete. MONOWAI’S CRUISE. The Union Company’s Monowai is due from Sydney on Monday, on her way to visit Milford Sound on n pleasure cruise. She will call again on January 8 on her return journey to Sydney and Melbourne. CANADIAN AUSTRALIAN LINE. The Aorangi will leave Sydney tomorrow afternoon, and will reach Auckland on Monday, The following day she sails for Suva, Honolulu and A’ancouvcr, where she is due on February 22. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Sunderland steamer Peebles. 4318 tons, was scheduled to leave Antwerp yesterday with a cargo of basic slag for Auck’and. She is due about March 5. CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Canadian National Steamships' vessel, Canadian Challenger, which left AVellington on December 16. arrived at New York On January 22 and left the following darter Boston and Halifax. RANGITIKI CDEARS BALBOA. The New Zealand Shipping Company liner Rangitiki, en route (from London to New Zealand, arrived at Colon and passed through the canal last Saturday. She sailed the following morning from ’Balboa, and is due at AVellington about February 14. TANKER LITIOPA; The Shell Company tanker Litiopa left Balik Papan last Tuesday for Lyttelton, where she is due to arrive about February 8. The Lltiopa was launched in 1917 from the yards of Messrs. Bartram and Sons, Ltd., Sunderland. She is 400 ft. in length, with a gross tonnage of 5356. CANADIAN NATIONAL SHIPS. In addition to the ordinary iiiovenicuts of Canadian National Steamships' freighters two of the company's vessels will make direct calls to Wellingtou in April and May next. The Canadian Constructor is due at AVellington on April 22 from Halifax, and the Canadian Conqueror is due here on May 20. The ships will proceed hence to Australian ports, New York, Boston aud Montreal. NUDDEA BRING ING SLAG. The steamer Nuddea, for which the New Zealand Shipping Company are agents, left Antwerp on Friday last with a cargo of basic slag for Auckland and New Plymouth. She is proceeding via the Cape of Good Hope, and is due at Auckland about March 21. CANADIAN BRITISHER TO SAIL. Canadian National Steamships’ vessel the Canadian Britisher, now loading at the King's AVliarf. will sail to-day to complete at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Napier for New York. Boston and Halifax. The Canadian Britisher will sail finally from Napier on February S. MAMARI ON FRIDAY. The Shaw. Savill ship Mamari is due here on Friday from Lyttelton. She will complete loading at AVanganui and will sail thence on February 6 for London. Avonmoutli, Liverpool and Glasgow. TURAKINA LEAVES HOME. The Federal Company's Turakina sailed from Liverpool on January 27 for New Zealand, and will arrive at Auckland on March 7. CORNAVAUL AT LONDON. The Federal steamer Cornwall, which left Auckland on December 23 for the United Kingdom, arrived at London on January 28. and will discharge there, and at Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare, which has been laid up undergoing alterations to the well-decks, will load today and sail to-morrow for Apia direct aud Niue. SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Unia, which loft Melbourne with a cargo of explosives on January 23, arrived at Greymouth yesterday. MONTEREY'S PASSENGERS.
