MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT
Distracted Attention of Driver By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, January 29. An open verdict that both deceased died from injuries caused accidentally while driving in a motor-car driven by Leslie Stewart, was returned at. the inquest on the deaths of Phyllis Merle Kite and George David McKay, wiio were killed in a motor accident at Hope Saddle on Christmas Day. •The coroner mentioned that deceased girl had distracted the driver’s attention by asking for her coat at a time when he' was negotiating a hill which required every care.
