WAIWETU CLUB GOLF
The strong northerly wind was responsible for poor scoring over the week-end on the Wajwetu links, and all but wellhit ehots were carried in all directions. The winner of the 18-hole bogey was A. G. Stunell, 1 up, others being D. Johnston, square; Mrs. Wilson and L. Mitchell, each 1 down. Next Saturday afternoon a nine-hole eclectic stroke will be played, and on Sunday stroke rounds for cup points will be completed.
