Nominations For Match The teams for the North Island v. South Island cricket match, which is to lie played at AVellington on February S, 9, and 11, will be selected from the following players, who were nominated to the New Zealand Cricket Council:— Auckland. —11. Tindill, AV. Tricklebank, C. Parsloe, J. R. Lamason, AV. Rainbird, R. A. Whyte, R. Jlorgan, S. Ward, B. Griffiths. E. McLeod. Canterbury.—C. J. Oliver, C. G. Crawford. I. B. Cromb, JI. Graham, AV. A. Hadlee. S. Andrews, F. M. Bellamy, M. L. Page, A. AV. Roberts. Otago.—G. R. Dickinson, J. A. Dunning. V. G. Cavanagh, F. Chettleburgh, K. Uttley, L. Smith. C. Saxton, V. Lender, D. A. R. Moloney. It seems strange that the two professional coaches. L. F. Townsend (Auckland). and F. T. Badcock (Otago), were not nominated for the match, but it is pretty certain that the New Zealand selectors will include both the coaches, as their presence in the team would add greatly to the attendance at the match.
