Marama From Sydney Tlie Union Company’s liner Marama arrived yesterday morning from Sydney, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. In the evening she sailed again for a pleasure cruise of the Marlborough Sounds, front which she will return on Friday, to sail that day for Sydney. The Federal Company have been advised of the following amended projected sailings from New "York:— The Armadale will leave New York on February 22 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Sydney and Melbourne. The City of Tokio wilt sail on March B for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. SURREY REPLACES NORTHUMBERLAND. In regard to the New Zealand-West Coast of Britain service, the Federal Company have been advised that the Surrey will take the place of the Northumberland to sail from Liverpool on June 1, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The fixtures out of Liverpool will there fore he as follow: Turakina (Jan. -.6). Tekoa (Feb. 16), Norfolk (March 30). Cambridge (April (20) and Surrey (June 1). All these ships are for Auckland, Wellington Lvttelton anil Dunedin, and in addition the Tekoa will discharge at Hawke s Bay the Norfolk at Bluff, and the Cambridge at New Plymouth. IMPERIAL STAR. Canadian National Steamships have received a radio message from the Imperial Star advising that she will reach Auckland ’ln ballast from Belfast on Sunday. She will load at Wellington ou February 8. and will sail on February 11 to complete at Timaru, Bluff and Port Chalmers; thence she sails on February 21 for London via the Panama Canal. PORT GISBORNE TO COMPLETE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lines Port Gisborne, which reached Auckland from New Plymouth yesterday, will there complete her Homeward loading and will sail finally on February 6 for New York. London, lAverpool and Glasgow, ria tne Panama Canal. PORT ALMA TO SAIL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line s Port Alma sails finally to-day from Napier for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. MAMARI’S sailing. The Shaw, Savill ship Mamarl is to leave Timaru to-day for. Lyttelton, thence on Saturday to complete at Wanganui. Her final date of sailing for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow is now fixed tor February 6. MATAROA THROUGH CANAL. The Shaw, Savill liner Mataroa, which left Iwttelton on January 5 for Southampton anil London, via the Panama Canal, sailed from Colon last Thursday. MAIMOA DUE. The Shaw Savill Company have received advice bv radio from the steamer Maimoa stating that she expects to arrive at Gisborne to commence loading at daybreak to-dav. She left London tn ballast on December 12 and came by way ot the Cape and Sydnev. After loading at Gisborne, the Maimoa will complete at Napier, I icton Wellington, being due here from »ebritarv 10 to 13. and Lyttelton. On February IS she will leave Lyttelton for London, via the Panama Canal and Kingston. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Captain E. Harris, who has been on holiday in Dunedin, has taken command of the Narbada, relieving Captain M. M. blender, who is proceeding to Auckland on holiday. , ... .. Captain J. E. Warwick is rejoining the Kakariki at Melbourne after his holiday, replacing Captain E. A. ■ Stein, who is transferring to the Koranui to relieve Captain R. L. Davies for holidays. Captain B R- Lowe has taken command of the roolta temporarily, relieving Captain A. F. Inman, who is on holiday at Auckland. , . , .. Mr. G E.
