Married Man Loses Life By Telegraph —Press Association. ’New Plymouth, January'2B Owen McGregor, married, with one child, was drowned in heavy surf two miles north of Mokau to-day He was one of a party from Aria spending a day on the beach. He was seen swim tiling well out and observed to bo in difficulties. A companion. Mr. Bar nett, attempted to rescue him. but had to return to the shore which was reached witli difficulty owing tn i strong backwash. McGregor disappeared Tim body mis not been found. McGregor is said to have been a good swimmer.
