BURNED LINER
Underwriters Not Taking Possession (Received January 27. 6.30 p.m.) London, January 26. The ‘‘Daily Telegraph'’ understands that the British underwriters who paid full insurance on the French liner L’Atlantique do not intend to exercise the right of the possession of tlie ship. By this decision they divest themselves of heavy accrued charges, including £50.000 for occupation of the dry dock at Cherbourg for the last two years, an inexplicably large sum for caretaking and maintenance.
