OTAKI HEALTH CAMP

Byron Brown, CPinnock, and the secretary, Mr. C. Meachen, were present. Mr. D. A. Morton, of Tuakan, wrote making the gift of a caravan to the as sociation for use at the camp. It was decided to accept, with thanks, Mr Morton’s offer. A resolution was carried conveying the congratulations of the association to Sir Alexander Young, patron. On his receipt of a knighthood. Dr. Gibbs reported that members of the Wellington Rotary Club would be making an official visit to the camp on Sunday, so that Rotarians could acquaint themselves with the routine of the camp. The Wellington Rotary Club is a prominent subscriber to the camp’s funds. It was also decided to place a further 40 children at the camp on Monday, February 11, which would bring the total admissions for the holiday period to 140.
