Union Cargo Service The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in the intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella is to leave Sydney on Wednesday for Newcastle. She will return thence to Sydney to complete her loading for New Plymouth, Gisborne, Picton and Westport. . The Kaimiro, which left Wellington last Friday, was due yesterday at Greymouth; thence she will sail to discharge at Melbourne and Adelaide. She reloads at Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne for Auckland, Portland. Napier, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Kalingo is due to-day at Auckland from Sydney. Afterward she will call at Wellington and Miramar before sailing from Greymouth for Sydney and Newcastle. The Kanna is loading guano at Walpole Island for discharge at Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin or Bluff. The Ngakuta, now at Napier, is to sail about Tuesday for Picton, Westport and Greymouth, thence Melbourne and Newcastle. The Omana was to have left Melbourne last Friday for New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. Tlie Waikouaiti is due to sail from Lyttelton to-day for Bluff to complete discharge; thence she will proceed to Sydney and Newcastle, completing at Sydney for Bluff. Dunedin. Timaru and Lyttelton. ; The Waipahi, which encountered rough weather en route to Lautoka, leaves Suva on Thursday for Auckland; thence again to Sydney and Fiji. The AVaitaki was to have left Port Kembla on Saturday for Hobart, Bluff, Dunedin. Timaru and Lyttelton. NEW MOTOR SHIP Union Company’s Vessel Karu The Union Company’s new vessel Karu, for the South Island-New Plymouth service. will arrive in the Dominion and be ready for service about September. She will measure 230 feet over all, with a 35foot beam, and a gross tonnage approximating to 1960. Her diesel engines will give her a service speed of It knots. Delivery will be given in about Jnly. The Karu is to replace the Opihi on the service. WAIKAWA AT AUCKLAND. With cargo from the Pacific Coast of America, and Apia, the Union Company’s Waikawa reached Auckland on Saturday. She is due here on Wednesday, and will complete discharge at Lyttelton. Dunedin, and Australian ports. AKAROA IN PORT. The Shaw. Savill steamer Ak.iroa, arrived on Sunday from Auckland, and is loading at the Glasgow Wharf. When she has completed she will sail on February 6 tor Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. WAIPAWA TO COMPLETE. The Shaw-. Savill ship Waipawa. which arrived here on Saturday morning, is to sail to-nmrrow for Napier to complete her homeward loading. She will sail thence on January 31 for London, via the Panama Canal. , MARAMA DUE 7 A.M. TO-DAY. The Union Company’s liner Marama is duo from Sydney at 7 a.m. to-day. She will berth at the Queen’s Wharf. No. 1 south. She will sail again at 8 p.m. on a pleasure cruise to the Marlborough Sounds, returning on Friday and leaving the sihne day for Sydney. BENHOLM DISCHARGING. The Federal Company’s Benholm. from New York and Newport News, has arrived here from Auckland, she. will later discharge cargo at Lyttelton and Dunedin before sailing to complete at Australian ports. ’ QUERIMBA DUE. The Union Company’s Querimba. which left Calcutta on December 16 for Australia and Auckland, sailed on Friday from Newcastle, and is due to-morrow at Auckland. RANGITIKI AT JAM.YICA. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki, en route from London, cleared Kingston last Thursday. She is due here at Wellington about February 14 and will later complete discharge al Auckland. PORT GISBORNE’S ITINERARY. The Commonwealth and Dominion vessel Port Gisborne, now loading on the coast, and dim to sail from Auckland on February 2 for London. Liverpool and Glasgow, will now sail via tlie Panama Canal, and will include New York in ner ports of call. TAMAROA SAILS. With passengers and cargo for Auckland -and Wellington, the Shaw. Savill liner Tamaroa sailed from Southampton on Friday afternoon. She is due to reach Auckland about February 27. IMPERIAL STAR. The Blue Star Line have received a radio message from the Imperial Star, which left Belfast in ballast on January 3 on her maiden voyage, advising that, she will reach Auckland to commence loading on February 4.
