CYCLIST INJURED

Struck at Crossing By Car (Dominion Special Service.) Mastertoil, January '27. A fracture of tiie leg and severe bruises to the body were received by a inotorcyclis.tj Leslie T. McWltinnie. aged 23. of Cole Street. Masterton. to-night, when he was hit by a motor-ear driven by a young man named. Alan Green, also of Masterton. McWbinnie was riding his motorcycle along Opaki Road into Masterton. and when crossing the intersection with Second Street be was struck broadside-on and thrown heavily to Hie roadway. Apparently the motorist failed to notice the motorcycle as he turned off Opaki Road into Second Street. McWltinnie was removed to (he Mastcrton Hospital, where lie was reported late to-night to be comfortable. Neither vehicle was greatly damaged.
