COUNCILLORS CONFESS
Breach of Hosing Restriction Three Upper Hutt councillors, Messrs. W, Fortune. J. Purvis and A. Howell, in order to emphasise that the hosing restrictions in the borough should be relaxed, confessed at the meeting of the borough council last night that they had disobeyed the hosing by-law. As a result of their argument it was decided to permit people to use their hoses between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.in., provided they were held in the hand. .
