LAND - AND INCOME TAX (ANNUAL) ACT, 1934. INCOME TAX PAYABLE. BY Order-in-Council, made and issued by his Excellency the GovernorGeneral in Council on the Sth day of October, 1934, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the duty by way of Income Tax, leviable under section 3 of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Monday, the lltli day of February, 1935, at the office of the Commissioner ot Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington, Cl;, and, in accordance with such Order-in-Council, ,1 hereby give notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue i£ the tax is not paid on or before March 4, 1935. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. PROPOSAL to raise a Special Loan of £7ooo—Paremata Bridge and Road Loan. 1935. , , NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1920, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers it thereunto enab.iug the Hutt County Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £7060 for the purpose of meeting the County’s share of the cost of the construction of a reinforced concrete bridge (including approaches thereto) over the Porirua Harbour near Paremata. and the construction and metalling of an access road tbeiefrom to Pliiumertou aud including fencing, advertising, engineering aiid otner preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme subject to the following conditions'. 1. The term of the loan or any part thereof shall be 35 years. 2. The rate of interest shall not exceed 34 per cent, per annum. 3. The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over the term ol the loan. 4, No such instalment shall be paid out of the loan. 5. It is proposed to pay out ol the loan the cost of raising same. 6.
