Quiunat salmon appeared on the market in Christchurch on Wednesday for the first time this season. Tt was exceedingly short in supply, being limited, in fact, to one fish, a specimen of about nine pounds. In spite of the price, 2/6 a pound, the market was soon cleared. It is anticipated, however, that fairly good quantities of this fish will soon be available.
