Due Here Next Week The Federal Company’s Northumberland., due to-day at Auckland from Liverpool with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Port Chalmers, is expected here on February 3. She will have completed discharge, and will commence her Homeward loading at Fort Chalmers on February 15. The Northumberland is to load at Port Chalmers. Timaru. Lyttelton. Wellington—due here February 22—and Napier, whence she will sail on March 6 for London, Avonniouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. CANADIAN BRITISHER DUE. A radio message received by Canadian National Steamships from the Canadian. Britisher, cn route from Auckland, states I hat site will reach Wellington at 8 a.m. this morning. Her other New Zealand ports will be Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is to sail from Dunedin on February S for New York, Boston and Halifax. THE EDBNHOUM DISaiJARGING. The Federal Company’s Benholm, which reached Auckland last Wednesday from New 'York and Newport News, is due at Wellington to-morrow. The Benholm will later discharge cargo at Lyttelton and DunccTin before sailing for Australia. THE ARAHURA. The Nelson-Wellington ferry steamer Arahura will not return from Nelson tonight as usual, but will sail from there at midnight to-morrow, arriving about 9.30 on Monday morning. WANGANELLA FOR AUCKLAND. The Huddart Parker liner Wanganella Is duo in Auckland from 'Sydney on Tuesday. She will sail again on the return trip on Friday, February 1. THE KUMARA COMING. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company have received advice by cable that the Kumara sailed in ballast from Newcastle-ou-Tyne at noon on January 24. She is coming bv wav of the Cape of Good Hope and Svdnev. and is due in New Zealand about Marcli’ 20. ALL WELL WITH RANGITATA. A radio message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the liner Rangitata. which left’ Auckland last Friday for London, reports all well. Weather conditions have been good since leaving port, and all aboard are well. SURREY THROUGH THE CANAL. The Federal Company's steamer-Surrey, coming out in ballast to load for the West Coast of England, sailed from Balboa last AVednesday afternoon. The Surrey Is due at Oamaru to commence her loading on February 18. She will load afterwards at Wellington, being due here on February 21, at Gisborne. Auckland and Wanganui, and will sail from the latter port on March II for London. Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester aud Glasgow. NORFOLK CLEAR'S CURACAO. The Federal steamer Norfolk, which left Auckland on December 27 for London, cleared Caracas Bay, Curacao, on the morning of January 24. TUSCAN STAR'S LOADING. The Bine Star motor-vessel Tuscan Star, due to load at Gisborne on February 28, and afterward at Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton and Auckland, will be loading here from Marcli 6 to March 9. Her final date of sailing from Auckland 'for London is fixed for March 20. REMUEiRA DISCHARGING. The New Zealand Shipping Company’* liner Retnuera. now discharging at the Pipitea Wharf, will sail to-day for Auckland. After completing discharge she will load there on January 29. and afterward at Tokomaru Bar, Nanier, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due back here on February 13. and will depart finally on February 16 for London, via Panama. RUAHINE AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cabled advice that their liner Ruahine. which left Nanier for Loudon on December 15. arrived there on the morning or January 24. QUEEN ELEANOR FOR SWEDEN. The Queen Eleanor, which has just discharged a cargo of phosphates from Naum at Auckland, left there on Thursday evening for Westport to replenish her blinkers. She will then sail for the island of Makatea to load phosphates for Sweden. PORT GISBORNE TO COMPLETE. The Commonwealth and Dominion mo-tor-ship Port Gisborne will leave New Plymouth to-day for Auckland, to complete her Homeward loading. She will sail finally on February 5 for London. Liverpool aud Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. MOTOR-SHIP COPTIC. The Shaw. Savill motor-ship Coptic is due from Brisbane to start loading to-day at New Plymouth. She will complete at Auckland, Napier. Wellington. Wanganui and Port Chalmers, loading here between February 7 and February 12. and sailing from Port Chalmers on February 21 for Southampton. London and Hull, via the Panama Canal. BRISBANE MARU. The Brisbane Maru, for which the Federal Company are agents, is now scheduled to reach IVeiliiigton from Japan and Australia on February S. The vessel will leave Auckland for Japan, via Sydney and Brisbane, KARAMEA TO SAIL. The Shaw, Savill ship Karamea. which lias now completed Iler Homeward loading, sails to-dav from Napier for London, via the Panama Canal. WAIKAWA’S PORTS. The Union Company’s steamer Waikawa is due this morning at Auckland from Los Angeles anti Apia. She will reach Wellington next Thursday, and will call at Lyttelton and Dunedin before proceeding to Australia. POTASH MOTOR-DINERS. It is understood that the two 30.000-ton motor liners under construction iu Italy for the Gdynia-America Line will be named Pilsudski ‘and Batory.
