CRICKET AVERAGES

Plunket Shield Figures

WELLINGTON & AUCKLAND

This season’s Plunket Shield averages serve to show how superior Auckland was to Wellington in all departments of the game. J. R. Lamasou heads both the hatting and bowling averages for Wellington, and has proved himself the outstanding player in the team. E. McLeod, J. Ell, E. IV. Tindill, W. Tricklebank and 8. Ward performed creditably with the bat, but the others showed a sad falling off. The complete figures are as follow: — Auckland BATTING.
