At this morning’s conference of the Dominion Horticultural Trades Association, the results of the florists’ “slogan” competition, open to primary school children were announced as follow: Pat Ralph (Upper Moutc're, Nelson), 1 and 2; Eric Murphy (Pahautanui), 3. Tfie winners of the committee’s medal for the best members ,_tlisplays at the national show were Grainger and Kjng (Timaru), Skenes (Dunedin), Moncrieff Stewart (Dunedin), and T. Y. Turner (Dunedin). It wife resolved to recommend that: the next conference be held at Auckland.
