“NEW FACES” REVUE
Twenty-five international variety stars submit n highly-diversified programme in Frank Neil’s “New Faces” revue at the Grand Opera House. Joey Porter, England’s cleverest comedian, had the audience convulsed with laughter, and the fun was kept merrily going by Alec Halls/ the renowned Continental humorist. Nice, Florio, and Lubow provided something in the way of comodv dancing, and Frank 4 Neils famous ballet and show girls staged many gorgeous turns. Les Diamondos scored a distinct hit with their glittering adagio novelty. For those who prefer something more serious, there is Miss Grace Hartington. the gifted English soprano; Mr Ted Simpson, a silver-voiced tenor : and Mr. Russel Callow, a robust baritone, who contribute many fine' numbers. . “New Faces” will be repeated to-night, and there will be a change of programme on Saturday.
