“Kentucky Kernels”
'J’WO merry small time magicians w-ho try to make a fiesta out of a feud are Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey in their roles in “Kentucky Kernels,” an RKO-Radio comedy hit. The story depicts the amusing and exciting adventures of the two comedians as they essay to arrange an armistice between two opposing Southern clans. Romance, music and dancing help the action to a rollicking finish. The cast-' includes Mary Carlisle. “Spanky” McFarland and Noah Beery under the direction of George Stevens. The picture introduces the new song bit, “One Little Kiss.”
