CITY PROPERTY LEASED

At a special meeting of tbe Wellington City Council yesterday it was decided, on the recommendation of the By-laws Committee, that a lease for a period of. two years from February 1, 1935, with the right to continue in occupation for a further period of 5 years, be granted to the present occupants of the property in Howes Lane (part of the old Milk Station site) on terms suggested by the City Valuer and that the seal of the Corporation be authorised to be affixed to the Deed Lease.

It was mentioned in the resolution that if at. any time the property was required for Corporation purposes or for sale, it could be resumed on giving the occupants three months’, notice.
