Mr. F. W. Doidge to Return MAY ENTER POLITICS London, January 23. Mr. F. W. Doidge, Lord Beaverbrook's lieutenant Gn the Empire crusade. formerly chief reporter on the “Auckland Star,” and latterly director of Lord Beaverbrook’s newspapers, will shortly retire on pension. He is going to Auckland, and contemplates entering New Zealand or Australian politics. This is reported to be Lord Beaverbrook’s first move to carry his Imperial Free Trade campaign into Dominion politics.
