Trinidad-M.C.C. Match (Received January 23, S.lO p.m.) , Port of Spain, January 23. In the cricket; match against the M.C.C.. Trinidad made 230 .for nine wickets, declared (Wyatt five for 10). Marylebone in their first innings made 220, and in the second 103 (Leyland 59, Sealey five for 26). Trinidad in the second innings lost, six for 86 (Constantine 25, Wyatt four for 42). The match was drawn. Rain all night, continuing in the morning, damaging the wicket. Despite Wyatt demanding new matting, Marylebone collapsed. Leyland alone playing Sealey’s spinners confidently. Trinidad were left to get 100 in 45 minutes. Constantine and Sealey began gallantly. and scored 20 in the first two overs, after which the side collapsed until the Grants arrived They hit vigorously in an exciting finish. G. Grant made -20, and R. Grant 28.
